Note that you will require the following programs in order to use Remedial:
- Avifile (debian packages provided below)
- Expat
- QT
- MAD
- Vorbis libraries
You may also, in some circumstances, need win32 codecs. Note that these will only work on x86 platforms. They can be obtained here and should be extracted to /usr/lib/win32 or /usr/local/lib/win32

Binary Packages
You can download Linux binary packages of remedial using apt. Apt is available for RPM based distributions at http://apt-rpm.tuxfamily.org/.
Simply add the following lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list file:
